Our Purpose
Founded in Switzerland, canton Lucerne, on October 29, 2022, The Rational Bridge is a member organisation working nationally and internationally towards its purpose.
From our Articles of Association (Art.2 Purpose):
“The Association aims to promote health literacy, in particular through the oral, written and practical transmission of health knowledge and skills, including plant medicines and other natural remedies, as well as basic principles of the life sciences.
Natural remedies have a long tradition of effective use across humankind’s history and cultures; this old knowledge is today re-discovered and augmented by a huge body of research evidence that enriches it and revives it for a modern world.
The Association strives towards (1) increasing the high-quality dissemination and application of this combined knowledge to health professionals and laymen alike, and thus contribute to improving health outcomes, relieving some pressure on our healthcare systems and promote medical self-determination; and (2) creating a space for diversity of opinion and open discussion to enable informed choices.
Furthermore, as the right to health is one of a set of internationally agreed human rights standards, the Association wishes to promote and defend this human right by making comprehensive and diverse health knowledge available to people of all ages and educational backgrounds.
The Association is non-profit and does not seek profit. It pursues an exclusively charitable and altruistic purpose. The bodies of the Association work on a voluntary pro-bono basis. The Association operates within the scope of its purpose in Switzerland and abroad to promote the international exchange of traditional health knowledge between and across cultures.”
